On Saturday, September 6, 2008, the Nutley Public Library, along with the Nutley Junior Women's Club, is hosting a back-to-school storytime for all pre-school and kindergarten children in the area.
September is National Library Card Signup Month! To obtain a new library card, please bring two forms of identification to the storytime event.

The Nutley Junior Women’s Club invite you to our Second Annual Kitchen Tour. At each home, participants will have the opportunity to view a kitchen, learn more about the renovation process from homeowners and professionals, and enjoy some tasty treats offered by the area’s most popular restaurants and caterers.

Proceeds from the tour will support local charities of the Nutley Junior Women’s Club. Proceeds from the tour last year allowed us to increase the amount of our scholarship fund, which was awarded to a Nutley High School Senior.

As previously reported, the Nutley Junior Women's Club is accepting nominations for its first ever "Men of Nutley" calendar. Just imagine – your spouse, brother, friend or father may be the next Mr. January!
In light of the initial response to our request for nominations, the Club has decided to change the calendar into an 18-month calendar (July 2008 to December 2009), and has extended the nomination period to allow for any additional nominations, and to seek any additional support for some of those that have already been nominated:

Proceeds from the calendar will benefit the local charities of the Nutley Junior Women's Club. Any additional nominations, or ideas, are greatly appreciated. We will also be seeking advertisements for the calendar, so reserve your space now.
