Think Pink Fundraiser 2006

The Nutley Junior Women's Club has dedicated a great deal of time to events surrounding Breast Cancer Awareness month.

On October 20th, we hosted our first ever "Think Pink Fundraiser" here at the clubhouse. The event was a huge success. Thirty four women attended the event, each making a donation to the cause. We raised $500 for the Nutley Thriving Survivors that evening.

While a significant portion of the evening's event was focused on games and prizes, it also provided a means to provide information about breast cancer awareness topics to those in attendance. The information we received from Montclair Radiology and the Susan B. Komen Foundation were quite helpful in that regard.

We were also fortunate to receive generous donations from Kim Algieri (Party Lite), Jill Kuczek (Traveling Vineyard), Jen Smyth (Tupperware), Debbie Bartell (Toile La-La), The Fitness Studio of Upper Montclair, Commerce Bank, Paula Ellis, Independent beauty consultant for Mary Kay, and adorable gifts from OOLALA Boutique. Thank you to all that helped make this event a success. We believe that everyone who attended truly enjoyed the night.
