Welcome to our club!

The Nutley Junior Women's Club strives to improve the quality of its community through the efforts of a dynamic group of women. The Club organizes service projects and fund raising events, disbursing the proceeds to local and national charities and organizations. Founded in 1912, it is part of the General Federation of Women's Clubs – the world's oldest nonpartisan, nondenominational women's volunteer service organization.

The Nutley Junior Women's Club has received the coveted "Diamond Dozen" award for a second year in a row. At the State Convention for the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs of GFWC – Junior Membership, the Nutley Juniors were recognized as one of the top 12 clubs in the State of New Jersey for its community service and fundraising activities. The award is only possible because of the constant support the Club receives from its exceptional membership as well as the Nutley community.

This year, the Club's prospect of receiving the award for a second year in a row was uncertain because the club moved into a larger membership category and therefore had to compete against clubs that are larger than theirs. Despite that potential roadblock, the Club was successful in receiving countless awards in the larger membership category – First Place for the Public Affairs category, Second Place in Art and Communications categories, and Third Place in Advocates for Children and International Affairs categories. Congratulations to all the Nutley Juniors for their hard work.
